Josh Ritter‘s EP “Bringing in the Darlings” was tracked and mixed by Saltland’s house engineer Jim Smith.  It was produced by Josh Kaufman in the Saltmine’s studio, Homeward Sound.  Smith says, ‘The EP was all arranged tracked and mixed in 4 days.  We all ended up thriving from the momentum, since it was such a condensed session.  It forced us to make intuitive decisions, which I think , resulted in a more immediate and intimate sound.”
