Gary Maurer is a founding member and producer of alt-folk phenomenon Hem, and chief engineer and co-founder of Brooklyn’s Saltlands Studio. His production credits include film and TV scores, documentaries, national commercials and recordings for artists such as Fountains of Wayne, Rose Polenzani, Cornershop, Luna, and James Iha, as well as the cast recording of The Public Theater’s Twelfth Night (2009) and music for the Tony Award winning play War Horse. Gary’s recording credits include everything from classical soloists to heavy metal bands to folk ensembles to symphony orchestras.
